Is tvery free?

Yes. Creating an account, swiping, building watchlists and sharing them with other people are all free, and no credit card is required to sign up.

How does tvery decide what to show me?

Every title in the catalog carries an embedding built from its synopsis, cast, creators and keywords. Your taste profile is the running average of the titles you have liked, and the deck retrieves the nearest titles you have not seen yet. It is based on what you react to, not on a genre questionnaire, and no streaming service pays for placement.

Which streaming services does tvery cover?

Availability covers the major United States services, including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Apple TV+, Peacock, Paramount+, Starz and MGM+. Data comes from JustWatch through TMDB and is refreshed daily.

Do I need a subscription to a streaming service to use tvery?

No. tvery tells you where something is streaming, but it does not play anything itself and it is not tied to any one service. It is useful precisely because your watchlist spans all of them.

Can I share a watchlist with someone else?

Yes. Invite anyone to a shared watchlist and you both add to it. Watched marks sync between you, so the list gets shorter as you work through it rather than growing indefinitely.

Can I track a show season by season?

Yes. Movies get a single watched mark, and series can be marked season by season, so you can pick a show back up months later without guessing where you stopped.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes, tvery has an iOS app, and the website works on any modern mobile browser. Your watchlists, ratings and taste profile are the same account either way.

Where does the title data come from?

Titles, synopses, cast, artwork and ratings come from TMDB, the community-maintained film and television database. tvery uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

How often is the catalog updated?

A job runs every day that pulls new and trending releases from TMDB, refreshes rankings, and fills in cast, keywords and content ratings for anything new. New releases usually appear the day they come out.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Account deletion is available from your profile page and removes your ratings, watchlists and taste profile.
